Tiffany Rominger Moon

so

A native of Avery County and graduate of Mars Hill University, Tiffany has spent most of her life working for the community she loves and holds close to her heart. She has spent her career working with individuals impacted by trauma at various levels with her most recent professional position being at Crossnore Communities for Children as the Residential Director of the Avery Campus. Most recently she has worked with Western Youth Network in Avery to prevent substance misuse and promote mental wellness among middle and high school aged youth.

Through her previous work in behavioral health at Cannon Hospital and advocacy for individuals experiencing intimate partner violence or sexual violence while at OASIS, Inc. she discovered a desire to address root causes of complex issues at the community level through primary prevention. Tiffany has spent the last 10 years of her career in daily community work organizing coalitions to make the lives of individuals and systems within a community operate better for the residents they serve.

Outside of her professional career Tiffany has been actively engaged in Hurricane Recovery efforts in Avery and has worked in the children's department of her church for more than five years.  When not working Tiffany thoroughly enjoys reading a good book, dancing, and cheering on her boys in sports and in life!
