  • Volunteer/interest forms: areas of interest, availability, skills, messages.

  • Communications: emails, phone calls, survey responses, stories/testimonials (with consent).

  • Account/portal (if offered): login/email and settings.

B. Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, referring URL.

C. Information from third parties

  • Payment and fundraising platforms (e.g., [Stripe/PayPal/Donorbox/Classy]),

These partners may send us limited donor or registrant details to complete a transaction or maintain records.

2) How we use information

3) Legal bases (EU/UK visitors)

Where applicable, we rely on consent, contract, legitimate interests (e.g., mission-aligned fundraising and program delivery), and legal obligations (e.g., tax laws).

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share with:

  • Service providers/“processors” that help us operate the Site, process payments, send email, run events, analyze traffic, or store data—bound by confidentiality and data-processing terms.

  • Partners when necessary to deliver a program or event you join (e.g., venue lists), using the minimum data required.

  • Law, safety, and compliance when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

  • Organizational transitions, such as a merger or reorganization involving WFBR assets (rare for nonprofits).

Donor privacy & recognition

We value donor preferences.

  • No sale or trade of donor lists.

  • Public recognition (e.g., annual reports, event listings) will use the name format you provide; you may request anonymous recognition.

  • Tribute gifts: we may notify the honoree or family using contact information you supply.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to a nonprofit of our size (e.g., encryption in transit, limited access, staff training). No system is completely secure; please use caution when sharing information online.
