A Legacy of Community Impact
OUR SIGNATURE EVENTS
The Women’s Fund of the Blue Ridge brings our community together through two signature fundraising events each year: Power of the Purse and Bourbon & BBQ.
Over time, these gatherings have become some of the High Country’s most meaningful philanthropic events. Year after year, our community turns ticket sales, sponsorships, and auction donations into powerful grant support for women and girls across Ashe, Avery, and Watauga counties.

These events are more than fundraisers they are celebrations of collective giving. In 2025, proceeds from our signature events helped fund $275,000 in grants to 29 local programs, directly reaching nearly 7,000 women and girls throughout the High Country. When our community gathers, meaningful change happens.
