What Is Power of the Purse?
Power of the Purse is WFBR’s flagship fundraising event, bringing together community members, sponsors, volunteers, and partner nonprofits for an inspiring afternoon of connection and shared purpose. Guests enjoy a seated luncheon, engaging program, auction, and community storytelling that highlights the real impact of collective giving. Dollars raised at Power of the Purse goes directly into WFBR’s grant cycle helping fund programs that address education, health, safety, economic stability, and human services for women and girls in our region.
