Annie Tarbutton

Annie Tarbutton, with her husband Greg, arrived in the High Country thirteen years ago and joined the family business, The Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock, NC. They have a daughter, Michelle Sandrock (Mark Sandrock) and two grandsons, Ellis (8), Alden(4), and son, Jeremy.


Annie serves at Rumple Memorial Presbyterian Church as Elder and Chairperson for Congregational Care and sings in the choir. At Rumple, she also received the PW Women’s Lifetime Membership Yearly Award and she is a member of PW Circle 4. Furthermore, Annie has served as Presbyterian Older Adult Ministry Network’s Conference Chair nationwide and received certification in Older Adult Ministry from the Center for Life Long Learning at Columbia Theological Seminary in partnership with POAMN.


Also, Annie has served as President of the Blowing Rock Garden Club and chaired the Miles of Flower Event. Additionally, she serves on the Women’s Fund of the Blue Ridge Outreach Committee.


Annie’s other interests include music, reading, traveling, kayaking, boating, enjoying three dogs, time with family and friends, and loving those grandsons!!
