Lizze Fowler

Lizzie Fowler has provided project management and operational support to High Country businesses since relocating to Boone in 2015. Prior to joining the Women’s Fund of the Blue Ridge, she served as Director of Operations at Beyond Pilates. Lizzie holds degrees in History and Political Science from UNC Charlotte and moved to Boone from the Concord area. She also offers ongoing social media management for Boone-based event professionals, with a focus on storytelling and fostering meaningful local connections.

A published author and passionate community builder, Lizzie is a self-described extrovert who thrives on helping others and finding creative solutions. She is excited to bring her commitment to equity and collaboration to her work with the Women’s Fund.

Lizzie has been married to her husband, Ryan, for 18 years. A Boone native, Ryan’s career brought their family back to the High Country 11 years ago. Together they have three children - Lochlan, Griffin, and Larkin. In her free time, Lizzie enjoys hiking, activism, embroidery, community engagement, and refinishing antique furniture.
