Mary Bickers

A graduate of University of North Carolina and Queens College, with additional study at the Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning and the NYU Institute on Federal Taxation, Mary pairs deep technical knowledge with a strong commitment to community impact. 

Mary Bickers has advised individuals and beverage wholesalers since 1979, bringing decades of expertise in estate planning, business succession, family wealth strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. Her strategic mindset, collaborative approach, and long-term organizational planning are tremendous assets. As founder of Bickers Consulting Group, she built her career on helping families and businesses plan for long-term sustainability that translates seamlessly to the nonprofit world.

Mary also brings creativity and community-building to her service. She was the visionary behind the WFBR's Bourbon and BBQ event, creating an opportunity specifically designed to engage men dedicated to supporting women and expanding the circle of philanthropy.
