Support.Period is an outreach project ensuring that no woman or girl in the High Country has to go without basic menstrual hygiene products.

Why It Matters

Period poverty affects health, dignity, and everyday participation in school, work, and life.

  • For women and girls living in rural communities like Ashe, Avery, and Watauga counties, access to menstrual supplies can be limited and costly.

  • We believe no one should have to choose between buying food and buying pads or tampons.

What We Do

  • Deliver essential menstrual hygiene supplies—pads, tampons, and liners—to partner sites throughout the region

  • Partner with schools, shelters, and nonprofits to reach those most in need

  • Reduce stigma and open conversations about health equity and dignity

  • Provide drop-off in our office for individuals who want to give supplies directly
  • Address:

895 State Farm Rd Suite 404

         Boone NC 28607
